The islands in the Limfjord

The islands holds a richness of different and unique landscapes and countless opportunities to experience nature. A range of hills which spans from east to west rises characteristicly on the north side of the island with steep cliffs towards the Limfjord. You can follow the 12 km net of trails , which leads the way to all sights on Fur. Along the steep cliffs on the north shore, you find plenty of opportunities to study the moler with dark stripes of volcanic ashes and you can also find fossils.
