Vacation in a holiday home in Southeast Sealand

Southeast Sealand stretches from the beaches north of Køge, over Stevns Klint, Rødvig and Fakse ladeplads to Præstø.
Southeast Sealand has so much to offer: A beautiful and varied nature, characterised by hilly landscapes, large forests and idyllic market towns and villages. Along the coast you both find child friendly, wide sandy beaches as well as narrow sand stips at the foot of towering cliffs with the most breathtaking views. You can choose among beaches such as Strøby Egede, Strøby Ladeplads, Rødvig and Mosebølle.

Southeast Sealand is a cultivated landscape, where wavy corn fields blend into large forests, streams and lakes and last but not least interesting coastal areas. The coast line varies from fine, child friendly sandy beaches, such as Strøby Ladeplads to narrow stretches at the foot of the steep chalk cliff Stevns Klint, which is the natural border of the peninsula Stevns towards east - the cliffs is about 15 km long and upto 41 metres tall. From the top of Stevns Klint you have a fantastic view of the entrance to the Øresund and on clear days you are able to see all the way to Sweden and the bridge crossing the Øresund.
The peninsula Stevns is bordered by the Baltic Sea to the north, south and east and in the vest the Stevns valley is full of life.
The long coastal stretches on the shores of the Køge Bay turn the region into an eldorado for all water rats. You also find small harbours and marinas and the whole region is woven together by meandering roads and from the hill tops you will always find new and breathtaking views of the landscape and the sea.
In the town of Køge you find a gently restored town atmosphere, a rare town life and a magnificent town square, which is second to none in denmark. Behind the beautiful facades antiques and new goods are sold. Take a walk at the cosy marina and feel the lively atmosphere, sense the smell of freshly caught flatfish, hering and eel, which is sold in the old industrial and fishing harbour. In Køge, which is a cosy medieval market town, you also find the lovely octagonal St. Catherines church, the vibrant marina and the most well preserved medieval town square in Denmark, where market days are held each Saturday. The beautiful nature in this region invites you to extensive trips by foot or on bicycles. On meandering roads you find your way to small, idyllic villageswith old medieval churches, bronze age burial mounds and large forests.
