Holiday for everyone in Croatia
Even though Croatia is one of Europe's smallest countries, it is hard to find another European country with such a diverse nature and very varied types of landscapes are close together:
Mighty mountains, rough hilly landscapes and small hills with a wealth of flowers and plants lie side by side with idyllic beaches and small peaceful lagunas, which are surrounded by green pine forrests. Here you will find the most beautiful beaches at the turquoise sea with crystal clear water, which invites you to cooling dips and refreshing swims.
The varied geography means, that those of you who do not just want to spend your holiday at the beach sunbathing, have ideal opportunities to try out different types of activities such as rock climbing, diving, sailing, sports fishing, hunting and stays at a health spa.

Experience the beautiful nature in Croatia
Croatia offers the Europe's longest coastline of the Mediterranean Sea and a fascinating archipelago with a dramatic coastline, where more than 1.185 smaller and larger islands lie like pearls on a string. Out of all these islands only 67 are inhabited and many of the small islands can be reached by car due to low sea levels while a close meshed net of ferries secure the transport to the other islands.
We can also recommend to move a bit away from the coast of the Adriatic to the inland, which also is very beautiful with the forrests around Lika, the lovely national park in Plitvice with its many lakes and water falls, the bread basket of Slawonia, the small winding roads, which meander through the breathtaking landscapes und the picturesque hills in Hrvatska Zagorje.
The climate in Croatia
The Croatic climate at the coast is the typical Mediterranean climate with long, warm and dry summers. The average temperature varies from may to October from 25 to 30 degrees and the water temperature is 20 to 25 degrees. A mild sea breeze makes however sure that the heat isn't unbearable. In addition the region benefits from 2.600 hours of sunshine a year, so that even the most craving sunbathers cannot complain!

Eastern European charme and hospitality
Neither can the culturally interested visitor complain, because the Croatians are widely known for their friendliness and hospitality and the countries swarms with well preserved art and cultural treasures, scenic cobblestoned medieval towns, which virtually float on wate, and picturesque villages with unhuried pavement cafés and small bars.
Here you can enjoy the interesting, spicy food, f.ex. the delicious, often grilled specialities, freshly caught fish and seafood and the good local wine - all of this of course at reasonable prices.
Fall in love with Croatia
Some say that Croatia is the perfect mixture of Spain's warm climate, Italian charme and culture and Eastern European hospitality. It is definitely true that Croatia is a country which it is easy to fall in love with.
