Allergies
In some houses pets are not allowed. However there is no guarantee that there has not been dogs or cats in the house earlier.
Annex
An annex is a separate house or an extension to the house with its own entrance. It often has one or more bedrooms and can in some cases be without heating.
Barbecue
Many homes have a barbecue. Please observe that sometimes the barbecue needs to be cleaned before use due to lack of being used. However this does not exempt the tenant from cleaning the barbecue upon departure.
Beds and cupboards
The normal bed size is 190-200 x 70-85 cm. The mattresses are often foam and probably not as thick as you are used to at home and therefore harder. Bunk beds often do not have a safety guard or ladder. Due to lack of space in the houses you cannot expect a cupboard for each person.
Cleaning
As stated in the "Terms and conditions of rental", it is your duty to make a final cleaning of the house. This includes cleaning the refrigerator and other sanitary installations. You can order final cleaning upon arrival for all the holiday homes, although this does not exempt the tenant from washing dishes and tidying up in and around the house before departure. Depending on the size of the house and the location the prices for final cleaning are:
| Standard houses from | EUR 90,- |
| Houses with whirl pool from | EUR 105,- |
| Houses with pool from | EUR 125,- |
Energy consumption and telephone bill
Upon departure you must settle your energy consumption and telephone bill. The cost of electricity is normally priced by the owner and usually is DKK 1,80 - 2,00 per kWh. Use of the telephone is paid DKK 1,00 - 1,50 per digit or marking.
Energy reading
In the period 01.04 to 31.10 the holiday home is checked by a dansommer employee before you arrive. The electricity meter is read and the fridge and hot water heater are turned on. The meter reading is noted on the energy slip which you will either receive when you collect the keys or it will be in the house. (There will of course be a difference between the reading our employee has written down and the meter in the house when you arrive. We therefore ask you to observe that our reading is made on the basis of the length of the booked tenancy. Our reading also counts for departure before time. In the period 01.11 to 31.03 the reading is made according to the same principals as in summer season where the holiday home is departed by the former tenants the same day as the new tenants arrive. However in the autumn and winter the house is preheated to approx. 15 degrees C, thus giving the difference in the meter reading. If the house has not been rented out just before your arrival, we preheat it. In this case it is included in your energy settlement. If you arrive late or leave early you will still pay for energy for the full period.
Hot water
In a holiday home you get hot water from a water heater with a limited capacity of 20-30 litres, equivalent to approx. one shower.
Household shopping etc.
The opening hours of grocery shops, restaurants, bowling centres etc. are often seasonal. dansommer is not liable if there are changes or sudden closure due to personal or economic reasons.
House size
The metric size of the house is calculated from the outer measurements of the house.
Loft room
In some houses stairs or a ladder leads up to an open loft room with a railing. Here you will find mattresses directly on the floor.
Model photo (N-Photo)
New or newly built houses: When this was printed there was no photos available of the house. Together with the owner dansommer has chosen a model photo that shows a similar holiday home and furnishing.
Rules for swimming pools
For your own safety, please observe the safety rules posted in the pool room.
Satellite dish
If a holiday home has a satellite dish it is most likely set up as the owner wishes it. It is probably set up to receive certain programs and these settings are only to be changed by the owner.
Sun bed
Due to lack of space the sun bed is often situated above one of the beds.
Swimming pool heating
All indoor swimming pools in dansommer luxury homes are heated and therefore you must expect an additional energy cost (electricity or oil). A pool house has an average energy consumption per week of approx. DKK 1.000 to 2.500 in summer and approx. DKK 1.500 to 4.000 in winter. Upon arrival the pool is preheated to minimum 24 degrees C.
Technical installations
In almost all houses there are a number of technical appliances such as washing machine, oven etc. at your disposal. Temporary technical failures may occur. The owner is responsible for setting repairs into effect as soon as possible after a defect is reported to our service office. The telephone number is in the house description.
Wood burning stove or fireplace
Please note that firewood is not included in the price. You can buy firewood locally at petrol stations or smaller shops. Wood gathered in the nature must not be used as it can damage the wood burning stove/fireplace.
