These nice holiday apartments are set in a country building located in a peaceful and panoramic location on the hills nearby Montaione (2 Km), just 20 minutes from the world famous medieval town San Gimignano.
The hamlet consists of various mansions with the owners' house and another 13 holiday apartments. The property is pleasantly decorated and has a nice homely feel. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious, and some have beautiful views from the windows. The living area and kitchen are well equipped and has real home from home feel. There is also a shared TV-Sat/living room and you can use a washing machine upon payment
The local farm produces and sells oil and wine, an dis certainly worth a try. In the charming medieval town of San Gimignano with its 15 towers you should enjoy a good local Vernaccia white wine at the beautiful Piazza Duomo.
Be sure to visit the 12th century cathedral, where you can admire frescoes depicting stories from the Old and New Testaments.
A must is the panoramic view from the ruins of the Rocca: you will remember the breath-taking view of the towers and the surrounding hillsides for a long time!
In the surrounding area you can also visit other historical villages such as Certaldo and Volterra.
The property is accessed by a 800 m long dirt road.
