The sky here is bathed in a special light and everywhere you can see the effects of the last ice age on the landscape. The surrounding area offers wonderful opportunities for fishing and hiking. For anglers the area is a true paradise. The only fishing port in Odsherred, Havnebyen, is located nearby. You can buy freshly smoked fish. The amusement park Sommerland Sjælland is 25 minutes away. At Gniben, all the way out on the Odde you can walk around the headland, it is also possible to walk through the army artillery school. In Nykøbing there is a large marina and studios.
