In Timmendorfer-Strand there are numerous activities for holidaymakers, a visit to the Baltic Sea thermal baths, the Sea Life Aquarium or a shopping tour along the town's promenade with its numerous shops and restaurants. The Hanseatic city of Lübeck with its historic buildings and museums is only 15 kilometres away. Excursions to Travemünde or Lake Plön are also easily possible from here.
